The first… okay, maybe not the first, but another quite significant fly has deposited itself in the ointment this morning. Not able to sleep I picked up my phone at 4 am in this morning, only to read an email that makes sleep even less of a prospect.
The industrial action is to take place on September 9th, 10th, and 27th, so the fact that we were to be flying on September 12th seems to suggest BA’s Chicago route isn’t a priority in passenger and plane repositioning following the industrial action.
The only option on my online travel booking is to cancel, so now it seems my only course of action is to join the “tens of thousands” of impacted passengers across the globe trying to contact the BA travel line to reschedule.
Thankfully we have some flexibility, so with luck on our side we will be moved to another flight within a day or two of our planned departure date.
The BA on hold music is starting to grate… stay tuned!
