In September 2019 we will be leaving
We are not cyclists by any stretch of the imagination and do not own any lycra. This will only be our second cycling expedition, the first being last year when we cycled the Scottish North Coast 500 (NC500), which we extended beyond the end point at Inverness Castle to also include Land’s End, completing a JOGLE, cycling over 1600 miles.
Sailing all summer is not the ideal preparation for a 3000+ mile three month cycle across prairie-lands, over mountain passes and across barren deserts, so anything could happen, and most likely will!
Being in a position to be able to sail all summer and cycle across the US into the winter months have made us think about how lucky we are. It is for this reason that we decided to support able2sail, a local charity to us here in Kip Marina that works tirelessly to give those that are less able the opportunity to get out on the water and experience the spectacular Firth of Clyde onboard a sailing yacht.
If you are able to make a small donation to support able2sail through Virgin Money Giving it would be appreciated by all. If you are not, then please help
Thanks for your support

Hopefully I am signing up to receive your blogs as they appear.
Thanks Jane… hopefully we will both be on our adventures soon!
