May 11th to 12th, 2022
While we have had a few fun days off the bike since leaving Scotland each of them was less than relaxing. We therefore decided to take a break on the outskirts of Zagreb for two full days of doing pretty much nothing.
That said, nothing has included:
- Washing our clothes
- Trying to sort out our technical web problems
- Bike maintenance
- Dealing with a few things back home
- Planning the route to Athens
- Rethinking some elements of the route around the world in light of the evolving COVID restrictions, i.e. China
We have, however, had lots of downtime, having only left the apartment to visit the supermarket, which you could get to with a single breath, and watch movies.
We plan to start early tomorrow to get through the city and hopefully enjoy an early end to the day at a campsite approximately 80km down the road in Tušilović.
Good to hear you are getting some R&R plus sightseeing.

Thanks, John. We are having a number of technical issues with WordPress and the website, which justhosts.com seem incapable of fixing. So while it’s a significant challenge, we will try to fill in the missing blogs and keep new blogs up to date 🤞

Yes, it’s apparent there are issues. Blogs with no pics, blogs with titles but no content, etc.
Keep the FB pics coming in lieu and ride on!
We will do our best, but not going to allow the creation of blogs to detract from our enjoyment. Writing the text isn’t an issue, but loading in pictures takes a significant amount of time due to a technical issue that justhost.com don’t seem to be able to fix. In fact every time they try they bring the entire site down. I must have spent 10 hours online with them.so far! 😭 When do you start touring? You had plans for Route 66 if I remember correctly.
Probably next year.
My 2019 delayed Mt Everest base camp trip is priority this year.
Rally reluctant to bike here in Thailand. Wild West with motorcycles and bad drivers.
Cin wants to follow by car so need to plan too. In end, likely just me alone.
